We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent, Full Time, Fleet Manager to join Southampton City Council (SCC) in the Waste & Fleet Service
About The Team
The Fleet Manager will oversee the efficient operation of the council’s fleet services, ensuring compliance with legal, health & safety, and environmental requirements and enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
This role involves managing both the workshop team responsible for vehicle maintenance and repairs, as well as the administrative team handling scheduling, records, and compliance.
The postholder will drive operational efficiency, maintain high service standards, and ensure the fleet meets council and regulatory requirements.
