At Southampton City Council we are committed to paying Foundation Living Wage as a minimum and we believe apprentices should also be paid fairly. Your salary as an apprentice will be £24,795 annually and may increase in line with any national rise in Foundation Living Wage.
About The Role
Apprentice Debt Officers x 2 – Join the Debt Management Centre.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with professionalism, confidence using a range of IT systems.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in developing a career in debt recovery and financial operations. You must be self‑motivated, able to multitask, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Senior Credit Controller and Debt Collection Specialist apprenticeship with CSA Learning. The duration of this apprenticeship is 16 months with 4 months for the End Point Assessment.
Salary & Progression
Starting salary: £24,795 with annual progression through the salary bands.
