S&W is offering a paid school-leaver trainee role in its accountancy team, starting in September 2027. Trainees combine client work with fully funded study and dedicated study time. No degree and no previous accountancy or finance experience are needed.
About the role
Helping business clients with year-end and management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT returns and cloud accounting software, and using automation to make their finance work more efficient. Trainees manage their own portfolio of clients, and by the second year they help to supervise new trainees. They study for the AAT Level 4 and the ACCA, a Level 7 professional qualification.
Requirements
112 UCAS points from three A Levels (obtained or predicted, or equivalent, excluding General Studies), and GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 5 or above.
Fully funded professional training, private medical insurance, a pension, life assurance, a generous holiday allowance with the option to buy more, cycle to work, a season ticket loan, eye care and shared parental leave. Applicants can apply for only one S&W programme each recruitment season.
