Graduate Trainee Auditor – S&W in Southampton

S&W is offering a paid graduate trainee role in its audit team, starting in September 2027. Trainees combine client work with fully funded study and dedicated study time. No previous accountancy or finance experience is needed.

About the role

Working with a wide range of clients, from family-owned businesses and charities to larger companies. Tasks include analysing financial information, testing processes and controls, building relationships with client teams and resolving audit queries. Trainees study for the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant), a Level 7 qualification equivalent to a Master's degree, supported by a buddy and a learning and development team.

Requirements

A 2:2 degree in any subject (obtained or predicted), 112 UCAS points from three A Levels (or equivalent, excluding General Studies), and GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 5 or above.

Fully funded professional training, private medical insurance, a pension, life assurance, a generous holiday allowance with the option to buy more, cycle to work, a season ticket loan, eye care and shared parental leave. Applicants can apply for only one S&W programme each recruitment season.
