About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Southam Primary, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils' learning and wellbeing across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with teachers to deliver targeted support for individuals and small groups, including those with additional needs.
• Contributing to the nurturing environment we are developing to help children thrive socially and emotionally as well as academically.
• Supporting the inclusion and progress of pupils with SEND and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Helping to create a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere aligned with our school values.
• Assisting with day-to-day classroom activities and supporting the wider school community.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about helping children develop confidence and independence.
• Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

• Is proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a team focused on continuous improvement.
• Has experience or a keen interest in supporting children with SEND and those facing social or emotional challenges (training will be provided).

The role is every weekday (except Thursdays) Morning: 8:30am- 12pm Afternoon: 1pm- 3:15pm
