We are seeking a professional Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods efficiently and reliably. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence and have relevant driving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 2 commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
  • Unload items and ensure they are put in the correct departments.
  • You will be a keyholder.
  • Plan delivery routes effectively to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during operations.
