Our recruitment agency is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Cook to work in a residential care home in Leighton Buzzard. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and caring individual who enjoys preparing nutritious, traditional home-cooked meals for residents.
Duties Include:
- Preparing and cooking traditional English meals and desserts.
- Catering for residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Managing food storage and stock rotation.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cook, Chef, or Kitchen Cook.
- Experience preparing traditional English cuisine.
- Valid DBS certificate.
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate.
- Good understanding of food hygiene practices.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
