We are currently looking for experienced and skilled Class 2 Store Delivery Drivers for our client based in Hemel Hempstead. Are you an experienced Class 2 driver looking for clean, consistent work with excellent pay? We are recruiting professional HGV 2 Store Delivery Drivers to join a fast-paced operation delivering ambient and frozen goods between different stores across the UK.
Pay Rates:
- AM Shifts (Start between 00:00-12:00): £21.66 per/hr
- PM Shifts (Start between 12:00-00:00): £23.55 per/hr
- Weekend Bonus: £58.96 per shift (Saturday & Sunday)
Shifts: 8-12 hours (30-minute unpaid break)
Paid Induction & 1 Week of Training (after successful assessment).
About the Job: Store deliveries, multi-drop. Modern, well-maintained fleet will involve physical work with lifting.
Your Responsibilities:
- Timely and safe delivery between hubs and depots
- Perform trailer swaps or drops when required
- Complete all relevant paperwork, logs, and checks
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
- Maintain excellent communication with transport team
- Adhere to all road safety, site, and tachograph regulations
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (C)
- Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of 180 days of UK Class 2 driving experience in the last 2 years (must show on Digi Card)
- Maximum 6 points on licence - no major convictions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Flexibility with shift patterns and weekend availability
- Able to pass driving assessment and induction
