In this role you will work within our Leadership Academy framework and will focus on designing and delivering leadership development and personal effectiveness training to colleagues at all levels from across the organisation in the classroom and online.
Key responsibilities:
- Research, design and deliver leadership development and personal effectiveness training, identifying and incorporating methodologies that meet individual and organisational development needs.
- Use an evidence-based approach and work with OD Advisors to identify development needs and appropriate interventions.
- Maintain learning/support materials and resources that enhance development and maximise learner engagement.
- Deliver interventions using a wide range of behavioural change/learning methodologies ensuring learners are engaged and supported.
- Deliver coaching and facilitation to teams across the business, improving team performance by impacting behaviour and culture.
- Embed the ethos of equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout design and delivery of all courses and programmes.
- Act as a coach and mentor to learners and colleagues, sharing specialist knowledge and supporting CPD.
- Foster and maintain a safe, inclusive, and effective learning environment and determine appropriate assessment strategies.
- Analyse evaluation results and utilise feedback to inform the development and continuous improvement of interventions.
- Engage in evidence-based research and keep abreast of advances in OD and learning and development models.
- Work closely with the OD Co-ordinator to develop frameworks for successful OD interventions.
- Be a visible role model; demonstrate professional principles and personal integrity.
- Maintain competence in subject matter expertise, including current best practice and academic theory.
- Participate in networking opportunities, reflecting on practice, and sharing learning with peers.
- Champion innovation and improvement by maintaining knowledge of new approaches to OD interventions.
Skills and experience:
- Minimum level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or willing to work towards).
- Experienced in delivering leadership training/facilitation in a classroom or online.
- Knowledgeable/accredited in leadership development, organisational culture, diversity, and inclusion.
- Understands and applies best practices in designing and developing OD interventions and learning materials.
- Skilled in teaching blended learning and presentational techniques.
- Skilled in facilitation and coaching using effective communication techniques.
- Skills and experience as documented in the role profile need to be evidenced in your application to be considered for interview.
