The Quality, Assurance and Evaluation Coordinator will design, deliver, manage and support quality and standards within learning and development across South Yorkshire Police.
Key responsibilities
- Translate learning delivery quality and curriculum standards into policies, processes and frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create a joined‑up approach to quality, standards and continuous improvement.
- Conduct assessment and internal verification checks for learner portfolios and support qualification framework programmes.
- Support design, development and delivery of new apprenticeship programmes and ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards.
- Research, design and deliver policies and frameworks that meet organisational and external quality standards.
- Engage in evidence‑based research and keep abreast of advances and best practice in quality and standards.
- Evaluate practices and frameworks to inform development and continuous improvement.
- Manage key policies, processes, frameworks and schemes that underpin effective learning delivery.
- Identify and engage stakeholders, undertake research and identify evidence to support quality processes.
- Apply best practice in designing, developing and adapting policies and frameworks.
- Identify opportunities and threats, implement change and manage assessment and accreditation schemes.
- Approach risk pragmatically, create and follow project plans, mitigate risks to delivery.
- Participate in networking and peer sharing to improve policing processes and practice.
Skills and experience
- Minimum Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
- Experience in curriculum management, design and development.
- Experience in managing learning frameworks and practices.
- Experience delivering learning and development to post‑16 or higher education environments.
- Strong coordination skills with multiple stakeholders across business areas.
- Experience in external inspections.
- Experience in delivering CPD suitable for adult learning environments.
