Salary: £28,914 - £31,749 (pro rata)
Hours: 18.5 Hours Per Week
Contract Type: Temporary for 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete research in relation to DVDS.
- Process ISVA referrals and update service.
- Research internal systems to support FOI requests.
- Retrieve and collate information from a variety of sources for Domestic Homicide Reviews, Serious Case Reviews and Safeguarding Adult Reviews.
- Liaise with external agencies to obtain and disseminate information for safeguarding reviews.
- Collate information from police officers, staff and partner agencies to support review of Force Policies and Procedures.
- Attend meetings to support PVP Governance Detective Sergeants and Detective Inspectors, providing administrative support where required.
- Complete administrative and clerical duties including handling telephone calls, taking minutes of internal meetings, maintaining stocks of stationery and equipment, and replying to postal requests.
- Conduct external research and liaise with other police forces to identify and implement good practice across the PVP portfolio.
- Carry out duties commensurate with the band profile to support departmental needs.
Skills and Experience:
- Advanced experience of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- High level aptitude in IT or performance management software.
- Experience within a statistical and performance management environment.
- Experience presenting data and findings to varied audiences, with an openness to challenge from senior officers.
