Transferee and re-joiner police officer opportunities – Constable, Sergeant, Inspector & Chief Inspector. We are looking for experienced Constables, Sergeants, Inspectors & Chief Inspectors to join both our uniform and detective teams across the Force.

To be eligible to transfer you must:
- Be a current serving police officer in a Home Office force.
- Have no outstanding misconduct or integrity issues.
- Have resided in the UK for three years immediately prior to submitting your application.
- Must have successfully completed your probationary period with your Force prior and be substantive in post.
Application Process: To apply, please complete the online application form. You will also need to upload the following documents with your application:
- Training record
- Last 2 PDR’s
- Copy of the attached training list.
- Copy of your manual driving licence (both front and back)
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to a competency-based interview, based on the Competency & Values Framework for Policing (CVF). Successful applicants will be guided through the transferee and re-joiner process and will be required to undergo the following checks:
- Vetting
- Medical Assessment
- Biometrics
- References
- Sickness Criteria
- Misconduct
- Tattoos
Your posting will be dependent on your individual preference and operational requirement. While every effort will be made to meet your individual preference, this cannot be guaranteed.
Rejoining the force: To rejoin you must have previously served as a member of a police force and have satisfactorily completed your probation service in the rank of constable required under regulation 12. Rejoining Officers will be appointed in a rank decided by the Chief Officer making the appointment and will complete a probationary period determined by the Chief Officer.
