Assistant Desktop Analyst (SYP) – temporary contract until March 2027.

Deploy desktop equipment in asset replacement program. Identify hardware faults, log and troubleshoot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and document laptop and mobile device users within asset replacement scope.
  • Build and install software on laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
  • Schedule and handover prepared devices to stakeholders.
  • Update CMDB with device owner records.
  • Refresh devices and dispose retired equipment.
  • Deploy and rectify Body Worn Video Cameras.
  • Liaise with IT Technical Teams to resolve IT issues.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in building, deploying and fault rectification of IT equipment.
  • Good interpersonal skills dealing with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with other teams within IT.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • GCSE level education or equivalent.
