Assistant Desktop Analyst (SYP) – temporary contract until March 2027.
Deploy desktop equipment in asset replacement program. Identify hardware faults, log and troubleshoot.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and document laptop and mobile device users within asset replacement scope.
- Build and install software on laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
- Schedule and handover prepared devices to stakeholders.
- Update CMDB with device owner records.
- Refresh devices and dispose retired equipment.
- Deploy and rectify Body Worn Video Cameras.
- Liaise with IT Technical Teams to resolve IT issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Experience in building, deploying and fault rectification of IT equipment.
- Good interpersonal skills dealing with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with other teams within IT.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- GCSE level education or equivalent.
