As a Senior Commissioning & Contracts Officer, you’ll help shape and develop services that support victims, survivors and vulnerable people and commission services that support positive behavioural changes of perpetrators. You will have responsibility for areas within the commissioning portfolio, manage provider relationships, influence senior partners, and ensure services are high-quality, compliant and victim-focused.
You will work closely with Local Authorities, South Yorkshire Police, Community Safety Partnerships and the voluntary sector to shape and strengthen support services across the region. Strong communication, contract management, partnership working and analytical skills are essential.

About the role
You will have responsibility for several important areas within our commissioning portfolio, such as Multi Crime victim referral and support service, Restorative Justice, Perpetrator behavioural change, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Abuse services. Your work will involve:
- Developing and managing contracts and grants
- Working closely with providers and partners to improve services
- Using insights from victims and survivors to shape commissioning decisions
- Influencing senior leaders across multiple organisations
- Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with funding requirements
- Supporting policy development, tender processes and funding bids
You will be part of a collaborative team that works with Local Authorities, South Yorkshire Police, Community Safety Partnerships, Youth Justice Services and the voluntary sector to deliver a whole-system approach to support services.

You will bring experience that supports strong commissioning or contract management, have excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders. You will be comfortable working with complex information, managing budgets and building productive partnerships. You will also have:
