Due to recent expansion, we are delighted to be recruiting additional Team Leaders to join our Work and Wellbeing Department across various projects that include Pathways to Work, Good Work and WorkWell!

We are seeking determined Team Leaders to drive performance and deliver a high quality employment support service to our customers. In this role you will oversee the day to day operations of a team, ensuring staff are supported, key performance indicators are met and our customers receive the best possible service. The Team Leader will work collaboratively with partners, businesses and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes for our customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and support a team of Employment Specialists and Health at Work Coaches
  • Drive performance to achieve key objectives and service outcomes
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching and support professional development
  • Develop and implement strategies that drive improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, behaviours and funding requirements
  • Analyse data and report on key performance indicators
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and partners
  • Uphold SYHA behaviours and values.

Who you are:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others to stay well and achieve in their role
  • An excellent understanding of employment support and the local labour market
  • The ability to drive improvement through focused performance management
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of people and stakeholders
  • A non-judgemental approach with a genuine belief that people with a health condition or experiencing disadvantage can find and sustain paid employment
  • A positive mindset, able to handle setbacks and challenges, and a commitment to working in a strengths-based way
  • Be willing to work across South Yorkshire as required.
