Head of Service (Homelessness) Sheffield £57,909 per annum, pro rata 12 months fixed term – maternity cover (30 hours per week) We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Service to work within LiveWell. The successful candidate will take on the role as Head of Service for our Homeless portfolio providing maternity cover for our current Head of Service. Working as part of the senior leadership team they will provide strategic leadership to the portfolio. In addition, they work closely with Programme and Project Leads in services to ensure services in the portfolio are financially robust, well governed, and high performing. More about the role: The Head of Service will report to the Executive Director of Care, Health and Wellbeing. The focus of the role is to: * Lead on the strategic oversight and development of the LiveWell homeless portfolio. * Provide senior level operational oversight of services within the portfolio, ensuring they are financially robust, well governed, and high performing. * Lead a high performing team to deliver customer focused, impactful services and drive a commitment to ongoing continuous improvement. * Champion collaboration across the organisation in order to support SYHA to achieve its strategic objectives. Who you are: Our Head of Service will be performance driven with a drive to develop sustainable business which provides value for money. The successful candidate will have the following: * Demonstrable experience of managing contracts and/or assets. Ensuring excellent compliance, performance and risk management. * Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis. * Track record of motivating and leading managers and in the development of a diverse workforce. * Proven experience of leading strategic initiatives, with the knowledge and skills required for successfully delivering change. * Personal credibility and a track record in housing, health, employment or social care setting.
