We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to work within our Property Services team. We are a forward thinking, values driven department, the role is based in our Rockingham Street offices. We are looking for a Contract Manager to oversee a team that deliver and supervise maintenance contracts for responsive repairs, stock investment works and specialist works from tender through to final completion and then manage those contracts.
The type of manager we are looking for should have knowledge of delivering maintenance services and in-depth knowledge of maintenance legislation and regulation for social housing. We want a manager committed to deliver excellent services that exceed customer expectations and deliver value for money for SYHA. Technical knowledge is essential for this post.

- Salary scale 5B Β£41,576 - Β£45,287 per annum, pro rata

More about the role:
- The role is responsible for delivering maintenance services for SYHA assets and customers
- The role involves managing contracts and Officers delivering responsive repairs contracts by an inhouse team and subcontractors
- The successful applicant will need to have a broad knowledge of statutory compliance for servicing especially on our LiveWell schemes and their communal facilities
- Responsible for delivering and monitoring DMC works and reports in response to Awaabs law
- Responsible for managing disrepair claims and cases
- Responsible for a team of Property Services Officers delivering contracts
- Responsible for void works
- Responsible for managing Stock Condition data
- Report to Head of Maintenance

- Have IT skills to project manage and experience of working with Housing Management systems
