The predicted salary is between 36450 - 44550 Β£ per year.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our well-established GP Practice serving approximately 6,500 patients across three sites in a beautiful rural setting.

As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide a high-quality phlebotomy service to patients while supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.

Our practice also operates a rural dispensing service, offering a unique and rewarding primary care environment.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Perform venepuncture procedures safely and efficiently for patients of all ages.
  • Prepare and label blood specimens accurately for transport to laboratories.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the clinical system.
  • Ensure infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
  • Support the wider clinical team in delivering high standards of patient care.
  • Work across all three practice sites as required.

About You

  • Hold a recognised phlebotomy qualification or have relevant phlebotomy experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Have a caring, professional, and patient-focused approach.
  • Be organised, reliable, and able to manage workload effectively.
  • Have good IT skills and experience using electronic patient records (desirable).
  • Be willing and able to travel between practice sites.
