The predicted salary is between 36450 - 44550 Β£ per year.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our well-established GP Practice serving approximately 6,500 patients across three sites in a beautiful rural setting.
As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide a high-quality phlebotomy service to patients while supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Our practice also operates a rural dispensing service, offering a unique and rewarding primary care environment.
- Main Responsibilities
- Perform venepuncture procedures safely and efficiently for patients of all ages.
- Prepare and label blood specimens accurately for transport to laboratories.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the clinical system.
- Ensure infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
- Support the wider clinical team in delivering high standards of patient care.
- Work across all three practice sites as required.
About You
- Hold a recognised phlebotomy qualification or have relevant phlebotomy experience.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Have a caring, professional, and patient-focused approach.
- Be organised, reliable, and able to manage workload effectively.
- Have good IT skills and experience using electronic patient records (desirable).
- Be willing and able to travel between practice sites.
