Support on the arrangements of a range of activities, events and meetings for corporate governance, ensuring the highest standards of corporate activity is delivered and the reputation of the Trust promoted. Manage programmes of work, working under own initiative, escalating issues when required. Such programmes to include Fit and Proper Persons Records, Policy Management Database, Board Visibility Programme and other programmes as defined by the Corporate Governance Business Manager.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high‑level administration support service to the Corporate Governance Team and the Company Secretary including diary management, engagement activities, travel, and other activities.
- Provide high‑quality administrative support in relation to all key corporate governance meetings such as the Executive Management Group, Senior Leadership Team, Board Committees, Board of Directors and Council of Governors.
- Maintain and update the annual schedule of meetings for the Executive Management Group, Senior Leadership Team, Board Committees, Board of Directors and Council of Governors.
- Work with the Travel and Events team, in liaison with the Chair and Company Secretary, to ensure venues are in place for all meetings of the Board of Directors and Council of Governors across the calendar and any ad hoc meetings required.
- Maintain the Board personnel register, proactively ensuring that all relevant checks, including DBS checks, are undertaken at the appropriate time.
- Maintain the CoG, Board and Committee attendance records throughout the year to inform the Trust's Annual Report and Accounts and CoG and Committee annual reports.
- Ensure calendars are up to date and serve as the first point of contact for enquiries from non‑executive directors.
- Maintain the repository of policies and strategies on the Trust Internet, ensuring it is correctly reflected.
- Quality check submitted policies for accessibility criteria and standard template use.
