We are currently recruiting an Administrator to join our team in Environmental Performance. Based in Exeter, this is a hybrid role once training is complete. Joining us on a full-time basis, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £25,274 per annum. You will be required to assist the Environmental Permitting team with permit records, applications and other administrative tasks.
Duties:
- Submit applications for new environmental permits and permit variations, for water discharge and waste activities
- Check draft permit documents prior to final document issue, and collate comments from colleagues
- Process permit surrenders
- Complete the Environment Agency Pre-Application process when needed and process any payments for this
- Organise and update information related to permits and permit changes
- Monitor the team inbox
- Process permit costs and other financial tasks
- Provide support to SWW / Amplify teams in locating environmental permits and related information
- Assist with bulk changes on permits database
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual waste reports
- Co-ordinate WAMITAB training for managers of waste permitted sites
- Provide administrative support to the rest of the team as needed
