We\'re on the looking for an OT Regional Maintenance Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary of £62,920 and a range of excellent benefits.
About the role:
As an OT Regional Maintenance Manager, you\'ll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards for our customers, colleagues, the environment, and our stakeholders through the maintenance of ICA related assets. The successful candidate will recruit, develop, and lead the OT Maintenance function to deliver agreed levels of planned and reactive maintenance on ICA assets (circa 39,000). Your role will be crucial in ensuring the availability, serviceability, performance, and security of remote assets, safely and to a commercially competitive standard.
What you\'ll be doing:- Ensure the effective, efficient and resilient delivery of planned and reactive ICA maintenance services across all agreed operating areas.
- Continually drive a health and safety culture to ensure all employees go HomeSafe. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policy and procedures (e.g. CDM)
- Deliver the annual Regulatory ICA asset maintenance program associated with MCERTs monitoring, Water Quality and EDM (Event Duration Monitoring as part of the Environment Act 2021 and Quality first programme.
- Drive a culture of ownership to improve performance, resilience, cost and compliance in addition to prolonging the operational life of assets.
- Successfully implement strategies to reduce the need for reactive intervention, improve asset reliability and security and optimise cost.
- Establish strong relationships across DWS, WWS, IT, Security, and Regulatory colleagues to understand objectives, risks, and priorities to ensure delivery alignment.
- Work with Asset Management and Operations, develop and deliver effective planned maintenance schedules that prolong asset life and achieve high levels of resilience.
- Ensure a reactive maintenance capability to respond to incidents 24 x 7 x 365 and enforce adherence to established standards and change governance.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate delivery schedules internally and externally.
- Evaluate proposals to identify potential problem areas, engaging Technical Standards, Operational and Security functions to make appropriate recommendations.
- Continually review team performance, design and deliver solutions and interventions to enhance services.
- Provide regular reporting on service level targets and forward schedules of work to DWS, WWS, IT and Regulatory functions.
- Manage spend within budgetary targets, provide regular reporting on operational and capital expenditure.
- Write and maintain policies, standards and procedures that set out how changes are documented, requested, assigned and implemented in line with industry, company and department best practise.
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures. Drive the performance and development of Maintenance Managers and OT Maintenance staff to take positive action and responsibility for assigned work.
- Establish and deliver a training and development plan for all staff in the team, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and company policy.
- Execute succession plans and development programmes such as apprenticeship and graduate programmes.
- Maintain a knowledge and skill level appropriate to this specialist area and participate in an out of hours standby rota.

- Degree in relevant discipline or demonstrable education in parallel technical or management discipline (or equivalent) or be on the way to achieving this.
- Recognised management qualification
- NEBOSH qualified in H&S Management for Construction or IOSH equivalent
- Extensive ICA maintenance leadership experience and background including commercial service delivery
- Demonstrable experience building relationships with and influencing senior leaders and stakeholders
- Experience of holding and managing operational and capital budgets Extensive experience of managing and leading a high performing team
- Experience of successfully managing multiple complex projects and work streams simultaneously
- Experience managing instrumentation, ICA, process control and telemetry technology in a Critical National Infrastructure environment
- Experience in working in a highly regulated industry
- An acknowledged subject matter authority with in-depth technical knowledge and experience of delivering OT maintenance services within an organisation.
- Good understanding of how the function contributes to the success of the organisation and a good knowledge of the industry and related supply chain
