We're looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Resource Manager to take ownership of tanker and crane resource planning across our operational areas. This is a high-impact role where you'll ensure the right resources are in the right place at the right time - balancing competing priorities, making critical decisions, and driving operational efficiency.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate and optimise the deployment of tanker and crane resources
- Assess and prioritise incoming requests based on operational needs
- Make timely, data-driven decisions on job allocation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams
- Challenge and influence operational decisions to ensure best outcomes
- Monitor performance, track utilisation, and identify inefficiencies
- Produce reports on resource allocation, productivity, and bottlenecks
- Drive continuous improvement in resource planning processes
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in resource planning, logistics, or wastewater operations
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams
- Analytical mindset with a focus on performance improvement
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in water, environmental, or compliance-related roles
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership capability, supporting and guiding operational teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and resource planning systems
Desirable:
- Project management experience
- Financial awareness and ability to deliver efficiencies within budget
