We’re looking for a Water Loss Field Analyst to join our high-performing Drinking Water Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in reducing water loss and helping us meet our ambitious targets. In this role, you’ll analyse data, identify leakage trends, and support operational teams with high-quality insights that drive performance and efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to improving how we manage water resources for the future.

What you'll be doing:

  • Analyse acoustic logging, flow, and pressure data to identify leakage opportunities
  • Monitor DMA (District Metered Area) performance and highlight risks and trends
  • Produce accurate, timely field packs for operational teams
  • Review and maintain leakage datasets to ensure consistency and auditability
  • Collaborate with planning and repair teams to prioritise work effectively
  • Support work planning, resource allocation, and activity tracking
  • Update GIS systems and maintain accurate asset records
  • Identify areas of unaccounted-for water using water balance analysis
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and company procedures
  • Participate in standby rota in line with operational requirements

What we are looking for:

Skills & Experience

  • Further education (A Level, NVQ, ONC/HNC, or equivalent) in a relevant subject is desirable
  • Experience analysing and interpreting data to inform decisions
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to handle and interpret multiple data sources
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively
  • Experience working as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience in the water industry, particularly leakage detection or management
  • Knowledge of DMA operations, water balance, and leakage best practices
  • Familiarity with GIS systems and hydraulic/pressure principles
