Role Overview
We will lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of our enterprise integration capability, owning the integration roadmap across APIs, events, batch, OT/IT integration, and legacy platforms.
We will lead delivery teams and partners to ensure systems, platforms, applications, and third‑party services connect securely, reliably, and effectively.
We will govern and optimise platforms such as Mule Soft, Biz Talk, SSIS, FME, and specialist tooling.
We will maintain a prioritised integration backlog balancing regulatory commitments, operational resilience, and transformation.
We will ensure the integrity, movement, and quality of operational data across systems outside our enterprise data platform, integrating Io T, telemetry, and SCADA data to enable near‑real‑time operational insight.
We will deliver integration change end‑to‑end with predictable, high‑quality outcomes aligned to business value.

Qualifications & Experience
We need a proven leader who has owned enterprise integration in a complex, multi‑system environment, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, or similarly regulated sectors.
- Strong track record of delivery across strategy, build, live service, and optimisation.
- Experience managing mixed legacy and modern integration estates, including transformation.
- Confidence leading multi‑team, multi‑supplier delivery models.
- Strong grasp of integration architecture, governance, and operational data management.
- Ability to make clear prioritisation and investment decisions under pressure.
- Degree‑level education.
- Professional qualification or accreditation in delivery, product, or programme management such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PRINCE2, or MSP.

This role is based at our Bristol HQ or Exeter HQ, offers a salary of £70,000-£90,000 depending on experience, requires SC eligibility and a mandatory DBS check.
