We're looking for a Water Regulations Officer to join our team - a field-based role where you'll combine technical knowledge, inspections and customer interaction to uphold water quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Inspecting domestic and commercial premises to ensure compliance with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
  • Identifying risks to water quality and preventing contamination and misuse.
  • Investigating breaches and issuing enforcement notices where required.
  • Producing clear reports and maintaining accurate records across company systems.
  • Providing technical advice to customers, contractors and internal teams.
  • Managing your own workload, appointments and inspections efficiently.
  • Supporting wider teams and stepping in for the Team Manager when needed.
  • Maintaining strong customer relationships while delivering regulatory compliance.

What we're looking for:

  • A background in plumbing or a related trade.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to interpret drawings and regulations.
  • Confident communication skills, able to explain requirements clearly to customers.
  • Well organised, able to plan and manage your own workload.
  • A proactive, methodical approach to problem solving and investigation.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Full UK driving licence - essential. (Water Regulations or plumbing qualifications are desirable, but we'll support you to develop in the role.)
