As a Network Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role maintaining the infrastructure that keeps water flowing across the region. This is a varied field-based role where you’ll work across operational sites and network assets, supporting both planned maintenance and urgent operational response.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out maintenance on network assets including service reservoirs, pressure reducing valves, and air valves.
  • Supporting the operation of the water distribution network to keep supplies running reliably.
  • Completing site inspections, maintenance, and repairs across operational facilities.
  • Assisting with planned and reactive work to minimise supply interruptions for customers.
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Supporting reservoir cleaning and confined space activities where required.
  • Providing professional customer service when working in public or operational environments.
  • Joining the standby and call-out rota once fully trained.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a water, utilities, or operational maintenance environment.
  • Practical maintenance skills across buildings, equipment, or operational assets.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role and as part of a wider team.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Good organisation and ability to work to deadlines.
  • A customer-focused approach.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Full UK driving licence (B+E desirable).
  • EUSR Water Hygiene certificate desirable.
