A long established Structural Steel company, based in New Milton is looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their expanding workshops.
This role will involve predominately MIG welding. Experience of TIG welding would be advantageous but not essential.
About the Company:
Design, manufacture and construct high quality steel structures including industrial buildings, aircraft hangars and their electro-mechanical doors, warehouses, grandstands, multi-storey buildings, car parks and bridges, as well as defence equipment, manual and electric roller shutter doors, windows and curtain walling.
Details:
- The role will be on a 12 week probationary basis and to start ASAP
- CSCS card is beneficial, not essential.
- Starting Salary is up to £18.00 per hour, dependent on experience
- Hourly rate will increase further following probationary period and possibly sooner depending on skill level.
- Standard, full-time contracted hours: 06:30 – 16:00, Monday – Friday (can start earlier if desired)
- Overtime is available and ideally the candidate should be open to working additional hours
- Overtime is paid after 39 weekly hours at x1.3 and x1.5 on a Saturday morning
- Annual salary ranges between £48,000 – £54,000 when overtime is worked.
