Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Wimborne, Dorset. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of metal parts, primarily using laser-cut profiles. Salary: Β£17.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (earlier finish of 4pm Friday)

Responsibilities

As a Welder/Fabricator your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welding: Performing TIG, MIG, and MMA welding on various materials, including steel and aluminum.
  • Fabrication: Assembling and finishing metal parts, working with laser-cut profiles.
  • Preparation: Preparing components for welding and assembly.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring welds and fabricated parts meet specified standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in welding techniques, particularly TIG welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with different welding processes and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in sheet metal work is advantageous.
