We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Deburrer/Operator to join our team at our Poole, Dorset location. This role is integral to ensuring the precision and quality of our highly engineered components. This position operates on a rotating shift pattern, offering a competitive market-related salary plus a 20% shift allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Hours of Work: Rotating shifts on a double-day schedule:
- Early Shift: Mon-Thurs 6:00am-2:15pm, Fri 6:00am-12:00pm
- Late Shift: Mon-Thurs 2:15pm-10:15pm, Fri 12:00pm-7:30pm
37 hours per week, with additional hours as required to maintain the efficient running of the department.
Responsibilities: As a Deburrer/Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting and deburring work under magnification to ensure quality standards.
- Selecting and using appropriate inspection equipment for manufacturing.
- Manufacturing components to correct drawing specifications.
- Changing inserts and adjusting machine offsets as needed.
- Completing necessary quality documentation.
- Assisting in the training of other employees.
- Collaborating with Production Engineers on Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Apprenticeship-trained in a relevant field.
- Experience operating machine tools.
Day-to-Day: Your day-to-day activities will involve working on intricate components, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Collaboration with team members and Production Engineers will be a key part of your role, as will maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
