No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. Responsibilities As a Trainee Wireperson, you will work alongside experienced professionals and be trained to: Assemble electrical control panels and components. Wire control panels using engineering drawings and wiring diagrams. Prepare, strip, crimp, and terminate cables. Fit electrical components and sub-assemblies. Conduct basic electrical testing and quality inspections. Utilize a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment. Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and housekeeping. Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who possess the following: A genuine interest in electrical or electronic assembly. Strong practical skills and a willingness to learn. Excellent attention to detail. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, or a technical subject (advantageous but not essential). Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or workshop environments is beneficial but not required. Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve: Learning and applying wiring techniques under the guidance of experienced team members. Assembling and testing electrical components to ensure quality and functionality. Collaborating with colleagues to meet production deadlines. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
