We are seeking a skilled and dedicated plant fitter to maintain and repair a large fleet of construction equipment. This includes excavators from 800kg to 14 tonne, dumpers from tracked dumpers to 9 tonne, telehandlers, rollers etc. You will be required to complete and maintain service records and inspection certificates, ensuring all equipment is safe for hire.
Salary: This position comes with a competitive market related salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Hours: This is a full time position, we operate Monday to Friday 0700 - 1700.
About you:
- Have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Be able to diagnose faults and carry out the necessary repairs safely and efficiently.
- Be able to weld to a high standard.
- Be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Have previous experience working with plant machinery.
