Manual Lathe Setter Operator to join our team on-site in Poole. This role is critical to ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet stringent industry standards.

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Responsibilities
- As a Manual Lathe Setter Operator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Selecting appropriate tooling and holding devices for manufacturing.
- Proving out both proven and unproven programs.
- Manufacturing components to precise drawing specifications.
- Conducting your own first-off inspections.
- Completing feedback tickets for set and run times.
- Maintaining production targets and adhering to quality standards.
- Completing necessary quality documentation.
- Following company policies, procedures, and Lean principles.
- Ensuring tooling and gauging are maintained to a high standard.
- Taking reasonable care of your own Safety, Health, Environmental, and Fire (SHEF) safety, as well as that of others.
- Collaborating with Production Engineers to optimize productivity.
- Performing other duties as required, in line with the nature and level of the role.

- Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
