Overview
We are recruiting for a leading fit-out company specialising in delivering high-quality commercial interior projects across the UK.
Their mission is to transform ideas into inspiring, functional spaces by combining creative design with practical delivery expertise.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer with strong CAD and CGI experience to join their expanding team in Poole.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00, offering a competitive salary dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our clients' visions to life. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing initial client drawings and presentation packs.
- Creating detailed CAD drawings and technical design packages.
- Developing high-quality CGI visuals and presentation materials.
- Designing creative space planning solutions for commercial interiors.
- Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and the wider project team.
- Assisting in the development of interior concepts, mood boards, and finishes selections/schedules.
- Ensuring designs comply with current building regulations and industry standards.
- Conducting site visits and supporting projects through various stages of delivery.
- Confidently presenting ideas and concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following
- Proven experience in interior design, workplace design, or commercial fit-out.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong space planning and technical detailing abilities.
- Working knowledge of UK building regulations.
- Experience using Sketch Up and Enscape.
- Ability to create compelling CGI visualisations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in commercial fit-out or workplace interiors.
- Understanding of furniture specification and finishes.
