Labcal is a dedicated team of experienced engineers providing specialist UKAS accredited calibration services for test equipment across a wide range of parameters.
The Calibration Engineer will calibrate a wide variety of mainly flow meters.
Main Duties:
- Calibration of customer and in-house meters, gauges and various instruments
- Follow all documented calibration procedures
- Comply with all of the Company’s quality procedures
- Accurately record all measurements made and produce calibration certificates
- Keep accurate calibration records, including ensuring that all of the equipment used is in calibration
- Be aware at all times that all customer information, including calibration results, must remain confidential
- Effectively communicate with customers about technical requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous hands-on Calibration, Test or Equipment Engineering experience in Pressure, Velocity, Temperature & Humidity, or Gas & Liquid Flow
- Driving licence, as some travel may be required to other sites
- PC literate
Additional Advantageous Experience:
- UKAS signatory

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to use initiative and communicate effectively at all levels with staff and customers
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow procedures
