We are seeking multiple Electronic PCB Assembly Operators to join our production team on a fixed‑term basis for 6 months, with the potential for a permanent position. This role is integral to the manufacture of high‑quality products for the meteorological and commercial weather measurement markets.

Contract Type: 6‑month fixed term (potential for temp‑to‑perm). There is also the possibility of the position becoming permanent after 5 months for the right candidate.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:45 pm; Friday, 7:00 am – 11:30 am.

Starting Salary: £24,800 (increasing to £25,100 upon successful completion of a 6‑month probation period).

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling products using hand tools and assembly jigs.
  • Conducting testing to specified parameters and recording results on works orders/lot cards.
  • Identifying and recording non‑conforming products.
  • Performing quality inspections on your own work.
  • Maintaining bench stock items and inspecting bench tools and manufacturing aids.
  • Utilizing in‑house PC systems for production processes.
  • Adhering to standard construction and build times.

  • Soldering and wiring experience.

  • Experience with manual handling.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 standards, including ATEX and CSA procedures.
