We are currently recruiting for a site operative for an Environmental Contracting firm. Hours of work Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30. Salary £25k per annum. We would consider paying more to a successful candidate dependent on experience/qualification.
The successful applicant will be joining an experienced team of staff whose main area of work is in Environmental Contracting. We undertake a wide variety of work in the following areas:
- River restoration
- River weed cutting
- Arboricultural work
- Pond/lake/wetland creation and management
- Construction of bridges
- Construction of fishing platforms
- Construction of boardwalks
- Countryside access works
- Environmental Consultancy
We are looking for a person who is:
- hard-working

- has a practical aptitude
- is personable and able to work well in a small team
- is motivated and independent
- has an eye for detail
- a full driving licence is required
- is looking to improve their skills and develop them through ongoing training
Desirable (not essential):
- plant operator certificates
