We are currently recruiting for a site operative for an Environmental Contracting firm. Hours of work Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 Salary £25k per annum. We would consider paying more to a successful candidate dependent on experience/qualification. Job Description The successful applicant will be joining an experienced team of staff whose main area of work is in Environmental Contracting. We undertake a wide variety of work in the following areas: River restoration River weed cutting Arboricultural work Pond/lake/wetland creation and management Construction of bridges Construction of fishing platforms Construction of boardwalks Countryside access works Environmental Consultancy We are looking for a person who is: hard-working, reliable has a practical aptitude is personable and able to work well in a small team is motivated and independent has an eye for detail a full driving licence is required is looking to improve their skills and develop them through ongoing training Desirable (not essential) plant operator certificates chainsaw certificates brushcutterexperience ecological and conservation interest understanding of construction first aid training To apply for this position please submit an up to date CV and we will be in touch in due course
