We are recruiting a Finnish-Speaking Customer Care Advisor to join an established customer service team based in Canary Wharf, supporting the consumers of a major international food and nutrition brand. You will be the first point of contact for Finnish-speaking consumers, providing a professional, friendly and empathetic service across a range of communication channels.

The Role

  • Responding to consumer enquiries and complaints regarding food and nutrition products.
  • Providing support in Finnish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Taking ownership of enquiries through to resolution.
  • Handling potentially sensitive conversations in an empathetic and professional manner.
  • Accurately recording consumer information and maintaining high data-quality standards.
  • Working to agreed customer satisfaction, quality and productivity targets.
  • Following established procedures and quality processes.
  • Working alongside product, quality and knowledge specialists when required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Fluent Finnish – written and spoken.
  • A strong standard of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, caring and empathetic approach to customer service.
  • The ability to take ownership of enquiries and find appropriate solutions.
  • Good IT and typing skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Previous customer service experience would be advantageous, particularly within food, nutrition or consumer products, although full training will be provided. Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce would also be useful.

Training & Development

You will receive comprehensive initial and ongoing training, covering the products and services you will be supporting, customer care procedures, systems, data protection and communication skills. There are also opportunities for career development and progression, with the potential to take on additional responsibilities as your experience develops.
