We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to lead an aerospace engineering workshop.

The ContinuousImprovement Manager will design and implement projects to improve process, communication and customer delivery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the use of Lean Tools and Techniques gained in a high quality production engineering environment.

Duties

  • Design, implement and embed appropriate CI plans which streamline operations and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Work with site management identifying resource changes required to support CI plans
  • Ensure MRP system data is used appropriately and effectively to compliment CI initiative
  • Identify training needs for employees on problem solving techniques and continuous improvement tools
  • Produce monthly KPI statistics
  • Skills and Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in a similar role
  • Wide ranging knowledge of all key lean tools and techniques
  • Extensive experience of working in a production environment
  • Proven hands-on experience and proficiency in value stream mapping
  • Strong project management skills
  • Data driven with a very keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Hours:

    Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm and 7.30am – 12.30pm Friday (39 hours)

    Salary:

    Up to £60k per annum depending on experience.
