We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Turner to join our team and contribute to our legacy of precision engineering.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate and program CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality components in line with customer specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC turning machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with proficiency in operating and programming Fanuc-controlled turning machines.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and machining processes specific to CNC turning.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
- Knowledge of Nadcap standards and experience in the Defence, Aerospace, Oil, or Marine sectors is highly desirable.
Day-to-Day:
As a CNC Turner, your day will involve setting up and operating CNC turning machines, programming using Fanuc controls, and ensuring that all components meet the exacting standards of our clients. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals, contributing to the production of precision-engineered parts for critical industries. Regular quality checks, machine maintenance, and collaboration with colleagues will form an integral part of your daily routine.
