We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for precision work, excellent soldering skills, and a commitment to quality, we encourage you to apply.
Ideal Candidate must have over 6 months experience
Hours
Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm (Friday finish at 1.45pm)
Salary
£Competitive depending on Cabling and Similar experience.
Permanent after successful 12 week probationary period.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and manufacture cable assemblies using automated and manual processes.
- Perform soldering tasks, including both fully automated and hand soldering, to ensure high-quality connections.
- Operate and maintain automated wire cut, strip, and crimping/twist & tin equipment.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in cable assembly or a related field.
- Strong soldering skills, with the ability to perform both automated and hand soldering tasks.
- Familiarity with automated cable processing systems and related equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of high-voltage insulation testing and automated testing processes is a plus.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
