We are recruiting for a Painting and Decorating Labourer for the local Council in Bournemouth, Dorset. The job is to assist the Decorating team to help them prepare their working area within council properties. This is an immediate start for the successful applicant and also progression opportunities.
Salary: £13.67 per hour
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (37.5 - 39 hours per week), 8am - 3.30pm Friday
The Role: General Cleaning and Labouring across BCP properties helping the decorators prepare their work areas. Mould washing and White Washing walls to assist the decorating team.
Duties and Requirements:
- You are hardworking, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, with good people skills.
- Full clean driving licence is essential as company van will eventually be provided.
- Mould Washing, debris clearance and area preparation.
- You are able to work on your own initiative.
- All uniform and PPE will be provided.
- You don’t have any unspent criminal convictions.
This position is subject to a Basic DBS check.
