We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse & Forklift Operative to join a long established logistics team. This is a varied role that combines warehouse operations, stock control, and local delivery work. You will play a vital part in ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, dispatched efficiently, and delivered professionally. Day-to-Day
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and packing orders, performing stock control tasks, and ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers. You will also assist with maintaining warehouse equipment and ensuring the workspace is clean and organised. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Competitive hourly rate of £14 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Supporting annual stock-taking activities.
- Manual handling of materials and stock.
- Assisting with stock control.
- Logistics & Deliveries
- Carrying out local deliveries within BH, DT, SO, PO, and SP postcodes.
- Ensuring safe and professional customer deliveries.
- Completing delivery documentation accurately.
- Equipment & Maintenance
- Performing basic maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, ladders, roller shutters).
- Supporting fleet maintenance checks.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Customer Care
- Representing the company professionally during deliveries.
- Assisting trade customers with collections.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Full UK driving licence (required).
- Up to Date Forklift licence – Counterbalance (required).
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Reliable, organised, and proactive.
