Job Description
We are recruiting for a Painter and Decorator for the local Council in Bournemouth, Dorset
The job is to assist the Decorating team to help them with general painting duties within council properties.
This is an immediate start for the successful applicant. The job is temporary 3 month contract to start with but could run longer depending on workload. (Future Permanent opportunities available)
Ideal for someone who has had a drop in workload and is looking for full time work. **Own Transport Ideally Required but van can be provided where possible**
Salary:
£30,480 per annum (paid weekly at £14.99 per hour) (umbrella rates also available approx £16.50 to £17 per hour)
Hours:
8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (37.5 – 39 hours per week)
8am – 3.30pm Friday
The Role:
General Painting and Decorating across BCP properties helping the decorators prepare their work areas.
Painting, Prepping, Masking, Glossing and Emulsion work. Woodwork and Walls. Plus some minor filling and sanding.
Duties and Requirements:
- You arehardworking, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, with good people skills.
- You are able to work on your own initiative.
- All uniform and PPEwill be provided.
- You don't have any unspent criminal convictions.
