BCP Council is looking for a reliable General Labourer to support their kitchen and bathroom fitting teams. You\’ll assist with site preparation, material handling, and waste removal across council properties. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn on the job.
£14.84 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours:
8am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (39 hours per week)
8am – 3.30pm Friday
Key Duties:
- Help fitters with lifting, moving, and setup of materials
- Clear waste and debris from worksites
- Maintain tidy, safe working areas
- Deliver tools and materials between locations
- Follow health & safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Manual labour experience preferred
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
- Full UK driving licence essential
This position is subject to a Basic DBS check
- Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented
- Basic understanding of site safety
- CSCS card, asbestos awareness or manual handling training (or willingness to train)
- Experience in property maintenance or construction support
