We are recruiting for an Assistant IT Engineer for a well established Aerospace company based in Poole, Dorset.
Overview: We are seeking an IT and SOP Assistant to join our team and provide support to the IT and Systems Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for IT & Data collection, Cyber security, and SOP activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining system security.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding of new starters for network, e-mail, and Epicor access
- Setting up new PCs and other devices, as well as decommissioning as required
- Attending to minor problems such as faulty PCs, printers, and phones
- Performing data collection analysis daily, correcting issues, and producing monthly reports
- Maintaining stock levels of ink and other printer stationary
- Analyzing and auditing security logs, and notifying management of exceptions
- Maintaining Windows Server updating service, Webroot AV, Cyber Security Awareness training, etc.
- Maintaining Network profile maps and user matrixes
- Entering Customer POs onto Epicor as Sales Orders and amending as necessary
- Raising contract reviews as necessary
- Updating price lists
- Despatching parts
