We are recruiting experienced Skilled Vehicle Technicians to join a busy municipal fleet workshop supporting a wide range of frontline council services across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified commercial vehicle technician who enjoys working on a varied fleet, from HGVs and refuse collection vehicles through to vans, tractors and specialist municipal equipment. You'll be part of a professional team committed to maintaining a safe, reliable and legally compliant fleet.
The Role
As a Skilled Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a diverse fleet of commercial and specialist vehicles to the highest standards. Your duties will include:
- Carrying out inspections, examinations and safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Repairing and maintaining HGVs, PSV and LCV vehicles.
