Job Description
We are recruiting for a Goods In Inspector for an Aerospace Engineering company in Verwood, Dorset.
You will be responsible for ensuring parts passing through quality control are inspected and handled in accordance with the companies operating standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out good's inward inspection for component parts entering the company from our suppliers.
- Assisting the Quality Control Inspector in the inspection of goods delivered for accuracy and quality.
- Correct labelling and identification of components.
Essential
- Experience of working in a similar quality conscious high-speed environment
- Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing/ engineering environment, ideally within the engineering manufacturing sector.
- Accurately working to an agreed set of procedures
- Computer literature with strong IT processing skills
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times
Desirable
- Knowledge of working Microsoft products
- Experience of manual handling of high value items would be beneficial
- Experience of daily target driven culture
- Working in an environment with different competing priorities
Weekly hours:
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm (39 basic)
Salary
up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience
