We are seeking multiple Electronic Assembly Operators to join our production team on a fixed-term basis for 6 months, with the potential for a permanent position. This role is integral to the manufacture of high-quality products for the meteorological and commercial weather measurement markets.
Contract Type: 6-month fixed term (potential for temp-to-perm). There is also the possibility of the position becoming permanent after 5 months for the right candidate.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am - 3:45 pm.
Starting Salary: £24,800 (increasing to £25,100 upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period).
Responsibilities:
- Assembling products using hand tools and assembly jigs.
- Conducting testing to specified parameters and recording results on works orders/lot cards.
- Performing quality inspections on your own work.
- A strong sense of pride in producing high-quality work.
- Soldering and wiring experience.
- Previous electromechanical assembly experience using work instructions.
- Experience with manual handling.
- Assembling and testing products to meet high-quality standards.
