Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 7.30/8.00am - 4.00pm
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee an 8-week CAT B interior fit-out project in Poole. This is a hands-on position managing the day-to-day running of a 5,000 sq ft commercial interior project. We are particularly interested in Site Managers who have come from a carpentry or joinery background and are comfortable getting involved practically when required.
The Role
- Take responsibility for the smooth and safe delivery of the project, coordinating trades and ensuring work is completed to programme and the required quality standards.
- Day-to-day management of the site and subcontract trades.
- Coordinating labour, materials and the programme of works.
- Monitoring workmanship, progress and Health Safety.
- Carrying out site inductions and toolbox talks.
- Managing site documentation including RAMS and relevant records.
- Ensuring compliance with site regulations and safe working practices.
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and project management.
- Resolving day-to-day issues to keep the project progressing.
